Description from the seller
Las 1000 Caras #161
Series: Las 1000 Caras
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Year: 2026
Work: Original, unique and signed
Style: Contemporary Neocubism / Hard-edge
Artistic description
In this work I explore the relationship between identity, nature, and the inner world through a female portrait built with geometric construction and surreal elements.
The face appears divided into two chromatic universes: blue, associated with introspection and serenity, and pink, which brings warmth and sensitivity. One eye remains open, looking directly at the viewer, while the other takes the shape of a fish, creating a symbolic play between gaze, dreams, and imagination.
A delicate branch of green leaves crosses the figure’s neck, establishing a connection between humanity and nature. The red lips act as a visual tension point within a composition dominated by deep greens and soft tones.
Using flat colors, precise black lines, and balanced geometry, I seek to build an image of apparent simplicity that invites new interpretations.
Art Series: Las 1000 Caras
This work is part of my artistic project Las 1000 Caras, a series of 1,000 original paintings numbered individually in which I explore the infinite expressive possibilities of the human face.
Each painting represents a different identity, a universe of its own built through geometric fragmentation, chromatic experimentation, and the combination of abstract and figurative elements.
The series invites reflection on human diversity and the multiple ways we perceive and represent our identity.
Shipping
The painting will be carefully protected and rolled in a sturdy tube to ensure safe transport.
