“ARCHEMISIO”
is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, in which he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting characteristic of Caravaggio. Raised among the streets of Rome, he has been fascinated since youth by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the churches and museums of the city, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, perfecting the hyperrealist technique through studying modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by the Caravaggesque legacy: his works capture meticulous details (from wrinkles in the skin to reflections on an object) yet are immersed in a theatrical and directional light that sculpts volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
