Tissot PRS 516 Automatic Chronograph – Swiss Made
A sporty Swiss-made Tissot PRS 516 automatic chronograph, featuring a bold black dial, stainless steel case and black tachymeter bezel. The model combines a motorsport-inspired design with the practicality of an automatic movement and day-date display.
The PRS 516 collection has a long history at Tissot, dating back to 1965, when the brand introduced a sports watch inspired by the world of motor racing. This modern automatic chronograph continues that tradition with its distinctive pushers, contrasting red central chronograph hand and three-register layout.
Dial and Functions
The watch features a black dial with luminous hands and applied hour markers, three chronograph registers, a day-date display at 3 o’clock and a tachymeter scale around the bezel. The red chronograph hand provides a striking contrast against the dark dial.
Movement
The watch is powered by an Valjoux 7750 automatic Swiss chronograph movement. The exhibition case back reveals the movement and its distinctive rotor design.

Condition
The watch is in good overall condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with previous use. There are superficial marks and scratches on the case and original steel bracelet, but nothing particularly serious. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
The watch is running well and keeps time well in my observation. The chronograph functions correctly: start, stop and reset have all been tested.
