Censer - Cast Bronze

Beautiful vintage Japanese cast bronze incense burner (koro) from the Showa era, designed in the shape of a lily flower.
The lid is sculpted as lily petals, with a central bud knob. The body stands on three lily-leaf shaped feet. Cast mark on base.
This piece comes complete with its original signed wooden tomobako storage box and the original paper certificate.
A fine example of Japanese metal craft, ideal for tea ceremony, incense collection and oriental art display.
Good vintage condition, minor signs of age consistent with use.
