AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful lot of three Imari porcelain plates, hand-painted underglaze and overglaze. This set perfectly illustrates the refinement of Arita production intended for export and the domestic market at the end of the 19th century during the Meiji era (1868-1912).

We have a plate with a phoenix and fauna motif, another with a poly-lobed cartouche motif, and a plate with a floral basket.

They are in good condition, only one of them, the more oval one, has a fêlé (a hairline crack).

Two of the three are signed on the back.
