Description from the seller
“Infinite Imprints” – Popléa, 2026
A powerful and singular contemporary work, entirely realized in genuine concrete worked by hand on a wooden support.
Inspired by Pierre Soulages’ universe and his exploration of light, this creation explores the meeting between raw material, movement, and shadows.
The concrete is sculpted in relief according to an interlacing of lines, curves, and grooves that evoke giant fingerprints, true signatures of the material.
The peculiarity of this work lies in its relationship with light. No artificial lighting is necessary to create its visual effects: it is the reliefs of the concrete that catch the natural light and generate their own shadows and contrasts.
According to the viewing angle and the time of day, the lines seem to move, the depths intensify, and new reflections appear. The work thus continuously transforms under the spectator’s gaze.
Its black, sober, and deep framing, in the spirit of Soulages’ works, reinforces its sculptural dimension and underscores the power of the composition.
At the border between painting, sculpture, and minimalist art, “Infinite Imprints” transforms a raw construction material into a refined, living, and timeless work.
A unique piece where light is not painted: it is born from the shadows.

The artist Popléa:
If you own this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa.
But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym.
He or she has not yet revealed their identity — voluntarily. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experience:
Create without a name, without status, without biography.
The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel.
The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, and collected — but chose to explore another path, freer. Refusing filters, codes, discourses.
Refusing that it is always the same — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value.
Perhaps what you own is the beginning of something.
Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now.
Both options are beautiful.
And deep down, perhaps that is the true luxury.
The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 package with insured shipping included.
Happy bidding
Latest buyer comments:
“Very happy with my purchase! The piece received is magnificent; you can immediately feel the technicality and the work it required. The packaging was particularly meticulous.”
“Exceptional packaging for a work that is just as exceptional! Thank you to the artist for this quality work.”
