Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows from the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the first runway/show performances of these young designers who made that decade a fireworks display. He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and Vogue US.
Amoureux et reporter des fêtes, des personnalités et de la nuit parisienne, ce qui lui vaut aujourd'hui une très belle collection d'archives photographiques sur une trentaine d'années, il fut l'un des très rares photographes autorisés au Palace. il continue à " couvrir " les défilés et les événements de la mode.
