Description of the lot
You will find the dimensions in each photo.
1. First mill (on the left): A classic patinated wooden model with a festooned metal cap in wrought style Napoléon III, typical of the Japy Frères brand.
2. Second mill: A Peugeot Frères model from the 1930s-1950s, characterized by its cream-colored lacquered sheet-metal housing and its domed upper lid in dark brown Bakelite.
3. Third mill (center): A traditional mill entirely in light varnished wood, topped by a hopper and a grand-armed crank.
4. Fourth mill: A classic cubic Peugeot model in wood, recognizable by its red-painted metal cap and its golden crest "Peugeot Valentigney" adorned with the famous lion.
5. Fifth mill (on the right): A dark wood model in walnut tone, equipped with a dark cast-iron cap and a fine crank, also characteristic of Japy from the early 20th century.
