Title: Venice
ㅤ
School: European School (20th century)
ㅤ
Style: Impressionism / urban watercolor
ㅤ
Technique: Watercolor on paper
ㅤ

ㅤ
Circle and artistic influence:
The work is integrated into the long European tradition of Venetian views, reinterpreted during the 20th century through a loose and spontaneous watercolor technique. The use of paper reserves, transparent washes and brief brushstrokes evidence the influence of Impressionism and the tradition of traveling watercolorists.
ㅤ
Urban view of Venice in which the canal occupies the center of the composition and leads toward the monumental domes in the background. In the foreground appear numerous bricole or mooring posts characteristic of the city, resolved with vivid reddish, blue and ochre accents. The transparency of the watercolor allows creating a luminous and light atmosphere, especially appreciable in the sky and on the surfaces of water.
ㅤ
Wooden frame with a wide gold profile combined with a dark inner moulding and light matting, which provides depth to the presentation.
ㅤ
Observations:
The work may incur damages during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
ㅤ
Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge.
ㅤ
The courier that must pass through the Swiss border may be delayed much more than usual, so, if possible, to speed up the processing, we will provide the Customs number that is holding the shipment so that the customer can unlock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties.
ㅤ
Due to the high volume of shipments it is possible that the order is delayed more than three days, so we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging.
