Exit Before the Encore by LeYack, a 40 x 60 cm hand-signed giclée on canvas, limited to 20 copies, dated 2026, signed in person, with certificate of authenticity and direct-from-artist sales from France.
Description from the seller
Under the theater’s luminous marquee, the party is in full swing: tuxedos, red dresses, chandeliers and a purple carpet. But she has gone out alone. Ivory sheath, long white gloves, pearl necklace, she looks toward a large cream sedan whose engine is already running, headlights on in the damp night.
She leaves the evening before it ends, like Cinderella before midnight, or like those heroines of Sunset Boulevard for whom the light is no longer enough. Who is waiting for her in the car? The painting does not say: it only holds the moment just before the door opens.
The gold of the bulbs behind her, the blue of the street ahead: the whole canvas hinges on this threshold.

About the artist:
LeYack (born in 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern narration with pictorial heritage. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.
