This acrylic painting on canvas presents a bust portrait of a female figure with an assertive gaze to the left, framed by a vibrant and saturated yellow background.
The skin treatment stands out with a modeled color approach, where tones of pink, orange, red, and brown are layered stratified to build volume and facial structure, creating an effect that sits between photorealism and chromatic abstraction.
The figure is crowned by a dense and natural dark curly afro hair, which serves as the base for an exuberant floral headdress.
This arrangement includes large-scale hibiscus in orange, yellow, and white tones, interwoven with green and turquoise-blue leaves, adding a fresh and organic color counterpoint.
The figure wears bold fashion accessories: large oval earrings that reflect the painting’s color scheme, one with floral patterns and the other with an abstract design in orange and turquoise.
The composition is balanced yet dynamic, and the intensity of the colors and the acrylic texture evoke a sense of vitality, culture, and natural strength.
