Nicole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and idiosyncratic approach to art and works with various styles, techniques, and forms of imagery. Her international career has seen strong development in recent years. Lubbers was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the world’s top 100 female artists and recognized as a Master in Art.

Internationally, her work has been shown and planned for exhibitions in, among others, New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China, and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries.

A particularly high point is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. In addition, Nicole presents the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision together with artist Michael Lam. Two different artistic worlds come together here and form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation.

The artwork is delivered unframed and without a stretcher frame. You will receive the canvas carefully rolled, allowing you to determine how you want to present the artwork.

You can, for example, have the canvas framed or have it stretched on a stretcher frame by a professional framer.

Important when stretching: please note that for stretching the canvas you need at least an extra 5 cm of canvas on each side. This edge is necessary to fold and secure the canvas properly onto the stretcher frame. Therefore, when determining the final size, please allow for at least a 5 cm margin on the top, bottom, left, and right sides.
