Luca Cartoonist, registered name Luca Angelini, born 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney first and foremost), he graduated in advertising graphics at the Art Institute of Ascoli Piceno and then completed his artistic studies, earning a degree in comics and illustration from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different career path (though still artistic), until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art.
He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons of yesterday and today.
He mainly uses acrylic colors, spray cans, and mixed media techniques of printing and collage on canvas.
Since 2021, collaborations with various Italian art galleries, with participation of his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista….)
