Description from the seller
**Vintage Seiko 2205-0649 Hi-Beat Professional Diver 150m (January 1976) – Remarkable Original Condition**
Attention to discerning vintage enthusiasts and collectors of rare Seiko watches. Here is a Seiko Professional / Lady Diver 150m (Ref. 2205-0649) produced in January 1976 by the prestigious Daini Seikosha manufacture. Far more than a simple small-format diver, the reference 2205 is a true engineering feat. At a time when most ladies' watches used quartz movements or simplified mechanical calibers, Seiko equipped this piece with an automatic Hi-Beat movement (28,800 alt/h) with 17 jewels, incorporating manual winding and quickset date achieved by pulling the crown to position 2.
The strengths of this piece:
Authenticity & Original Patina: The matte black dial, the characteristic red seconds hand, and the tritium indices present a uniformly preserved patina. Iconic details: Original rotating bezel with its luminous pearl at 12 o'clock, crystal with an internal date magnifier, and extremely crisp case-back markings. Daini signature: Marked with the stylized Daini workshop lightning bolt at the bottom of the dial and on the screwed case back.
A historic, robust, and functional piece, ideal to complete a vintage Seiko dive-tool collection (Tool Watches) or to adorn a slim wrist with an authentic watch of character.
Its water resistance has not been tested and it functions correctly.
