Hand-forged Prunkschlüssel aus massivem Eisen. A real piece of history, notable for its extraordinary design. The striking, large ring grip gives the key an imposing presence and weighs about 160 grams in the hand. It is truly enormous, about 16 cm long and 6 cm wide.

A special detail is the delicate heart element inside the handle – a symbol that was often used on high-quality chests or portals’ locks.

The baluster shaft is artfully profiled and testifies to high blacksmithing craftsmanship.

The sturdy key blade features a deep notch, which points to a complex historical lock-and-barrow system that in the 18th century truly not everyone could master.
