Laurent Pate - Cocker (chien)

Laurent Paté is a French painter whose work is distinguished by a vibrant and expressive approach to color and material. Originally from Normandy, he found in knife-painting with oil a technique that matches his creative energy and his desire to give relief to his compositions.

His works oscillate between maritime landscapes inspired by Brittany and Normandy, and more contemporary creations where abstraction meets a certain emotional spontaneity. Each canvas seems to reflect a mood, a moment captured with intensity. (cat dog cow)

On the Catawiki platform, his paintings regularly find buyers, bearing witness to a growing interest in his artistic universe. There you can find marine representations, animal scenes, or freer explorations of form and color. The auctions highlight the public’s appreciation for his generous and instinctive style.

Laurent PATE does not hesitate to play with light and textures to bring his subjects to life, thus creating an immediate connection with the viewer. His art, both accessible and sincere, finds its place with collectors in France and internationally.
