French artist whose works have been shown in numerous exhibitions and publications in Europe, the Americas and Asia. His work has also been highlighted on British television Channel 4, in the program “Huge Homes with Hugh Dennis”.

His work sits at the intersection of image, collective memory and the traces left by time. Drawing inspiration from 20th-century images, Bazévian explores their transformation, alteration and reinterpretation through a personal pictorial language.

Between collective memory and personal history, his work evokes images oxidized, erased or transformed by time. The gaze becomes presence, texture becomes light and every image reactivated by the imagination gradually transforms into a new memory.

Bazévian thus develops a singular and sensitive universe, at the boundary between figuration and abstraction, where fragments of the past become the starting point for a contemporary and personal work.
