The level of the bottle reached the shoulder and the cork, although firm, was heavily moldy. It looked almost like a lit cigar, which worried me. To my great surprise, the wine was still young and possessed a great richness of character. I strongly recommend decanting it to remove the sediment, but what a delight! It was exceptional down to the last drop
