O. Delgado - La luz XL

The light presents a still life of flowers and fruits in which two roses in coral and red tones unfold among green leaves, accompanied by a pinkish vase and several fruits arranged on a light surface.

The sky-blue background and turquoise nuances create a vibrant contrast with the warm tones of the flowers and the fruits. This relationship between cool and warm colors adds depth and luminosity to the composition, while the loose, gestural brushwork preserves the spontaneity of the painting process.

The forms are built through visible strokes and color variations that move away from a strictly realistic representation to offer a fresh and expressive interpretation of the traditional still life. The roses, protagonists of the scene, bring energy and movement, while the arrangement of objects maintains a balance between naturalness and structure.

Light offers a contemporary look at everyday subjects, exploring the capacity of color to transform flowers and fruits into a composition full of vitality. A work that stands out for its chromatic strength and for a luminous atmosphere that gives meaning to its title.
