AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Painting, Original, Unique piece from Berlin, 90x110 cm

This painting was created through a multi-layered, experimental process. Self-developed texture pastes are applied individually and carefully dried before the next layer follows.

Through this intricate construction, a special surface texture develops with a captivating tactile quality. Delicate yet expressive abstract forms and subtle undulations give the work depth, vitality, and an exciting interplay between light and shadow.

Your artwork is already stretched on sturdy XXL stretcher bars – you receive a finished stretched painting, not a rolled canvas.

This saves you the additional cost of stretching the canvas. The painting is produced without an external frame and can be hung as is or framed to your liking.

About the Artist

Olga Cova was born in a small town in Russia and initially received a classical artistic education at an art school. After moving to Germany about ten years ago, she began to place increasing emphasis on developing her own artistic language at the center of her work.

In the following years she studied various techniques and approaches in abstract painting and deepened her knowledge through courses with different artists. Over time she decided to pursue her artistic path independently and to develop a distinctive visual language born from intuitive, experimental work.

Since 2022, she has been working in her own studio within an artist collective in Berlin.

Her painting thrives on color, movement, and the dynamic interplay between spontaneous gestures and deliberate composition. At the heart of her practice is the open process of experimentation—the ongoing search for new relationships between color, form, texture, and material. In her abstract worlds, intuition and design meet and influence each other.

Her works have been exhibited at Open Studios organized by Raum für Kunst e. V. in Berlin, as well as in a group exhibition in collaboration with White Square Gallery.

About the Painting

This painting is created through a multi-layered, experimental process. Specially developed texture pastes are applied by hand, one layer at a time, with each layer carefully left to dry before the next is added.

This meticulous process creates a distinctive surface with a captivating tactile quality. Delicate yet expressive abstract forms and subtle textural variations give the artwork depth, vitality, and a fascinating interplay of light and shadow.

Your artwork arrives fully stretched on sturdy, deep-profile stretcher bars, ready to display. You receive a finished canvas rather than a rolled painting, saving you the additional cost of professional stretching.

The artwork is sold unframed, without an additional outer frame. It can be hung as it is or placed in a frame of your choice to complement your interior.
