Description from the seller

Original advertising poster (offset) dating from around 1950. A young couple in typical Fifties outfits smiles as they enjoy a freshly tapped EKLA pils in a flute glass with a fresh foamy head. A pleasant scene that lifts your mood and instantly makes you crave / thirst for this tasty Belgian pilsner.

Printing: Max-Massart, Brussels. H.R.B. 91159 commissioned by the advertising agency McCann-Erickson Co.

Bottom right the authentic tax stamps: Belgium 40 C. (entimes) and 'extremely to be sealed'.

Condition B+: some signs of wear, closed tear at the bottom edge. Image overall intact;

Shipping: rolled in a sturdy tube with Bpost track & trace or Bpost International.

EKLA Super Pils was a product of the former Brouwerij Vandenheuvel in Molenbeek, which closed in 1974. It was one of the largest breweries in Belgium. But there is good news as well. The Belgian home brewery Brasserie L'Imprimerie in Uccle (Brussels-Capital Region), founded in 2003 by Guy-Philippe de Ribeaucourt, son of the last owners of Brouwerij Vandenheuvel, is working to revive the beers of his ancestors. The recipes of the current beers Ekla Super Pils, Stout Vandenheuvel and Double Export are based on the 1845 recipes of the old brewery, but are now brewed using top-fermenting methods (Source: Wikipedia)
