French artist whose works have been shown in numerous exhibitions and publications across Europe, the Americas and Asia. His work has also been highlighted on British television Channel 4, in the program “Huge Homes with Hugh Dennis”.

His work is part of a research into image, collective memory and the traces left by time. Drawing inspiration from images of the twentieth century, Bazévian explores their transformation, alteration and reinterpretation through a personal pictorial language.

Between collective memory and personal history, his work evokes oxidized images, erased or transformed by time. The gaze becomes presence, the texture becomes light and each image reactivated by imagination gradually becomes a new memory.

Bazévian thus develops a singular and sensitive universe, at the boundary between figuration and abstraction, where fragments of the past become the starting point of a contemporary and personal work.
