Two 'bark-pattern' vases, Ingrid Glashütte, Germany, 1970s.

Kurt Wokan was the designer of these glass objects, which are described by their texture as 'Bark texture', 'Glacier look' or 'Bark'.

In this 'bark' design, vases were made in different shapes and colors. This consists of two vases: one white and one in a transparent version.

The milky-white specimen with a nicely beveled rim is 14 cm high and 13.5 cm in diameter.

The transparent specimen has a small chip on the beveled rim and is 13 cm high and 13 cm in diameter.

The vases weigh about 800 grams each, and apart from the noted chip they are in completely good condition.
