Sculpture, La Dolce Vita - 30 cm - glass - 1960

Mid-Century Art Glass | 10-piece Design Fruit Basket.. La Dolce Vita, but in glass.

Think of a luxurious Italian penthouse in the 60s. Shiny chrome, bold colors, designer furniture and an interior where even a fruit bowl had to make a statement.

That exact vibe breathes through this spectacular vintage collection.

Nine colorful glass art objects, brought together in a sculptural chrome wire basket with irresistible Space Age allure.

Deep-purple grapes, an elegant eggplant, emerald-green accents, an almost black avocado and an explosion of sunny yellow, ruby red and mandarin orange. The colors are rich, the shapes seductive, and the finish beautifully detailed.

This is the kind of decorative glassware that the 60s and 70s are loved for. Exuberant, quirky and with a healthy dose of Italian glamour.

And then those vegetables!

Where traditional glass fruit collections mainly feature apples, pears and grapes, this collection surprises with two different avocados, an eggplant and a beautifully shaped green cabbage.

Especially the contrasting textures impress. From the rough, almost lifelike avocado skin to the smooth eggplant and the hand-formed green leaves. Even up close, this collection remains captivating.

The elegant chrome wire basket completes the look. The open, rhythmic metal forms give the colorful glass objects an almost floating effect. Pure retro glamour with a hint of Space Age.

A showpiece with the aura of a design gallery.

Imagine this collection on a marble dining table, an Italian travertine sideboard, or a vintage teak sideboard. Even in a minimalist interior, this colorful still life creates an exciting contrast.

Fans of Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, maximalist interiors, and Italian design will recognize the bold look immediately.

And with the approaching holiday season in sight? A particularly festive centerpiece on the table. No flowers needed, no daily care. This fruit bowl has its own ideas about eternal beauty.

Nine glass sculptures. One chrome design basket. A complete vintage collection with character, color and a healthy dose of retro luxury.
