The first chapter of our Rioja story.
Grand Mare 2018 was the first Rioja released by Bodega Submarina del Mediterráneo under The Sea Wine Club collection, marking the beginning of the wine now known as W02.
Produced in a limited edition of just 820 individually numbered bottles, this inaugural release retains the original Grand Mare name and presentation.
Made from 100% Tempranillo and matured beneath the Mediterranean Sea, it brings together Rioja’s winemaking heritage and the winery’s distinctive underwater ageing process.
This is bottle 773 of 820, offered directly from the winery’s own remaining stock. A numbered example of the original release, with a special place in the history of the collection.
