Lot consisting of two Magnum-format (1.5L) bottles of Duca Enrico di Duca di Salaparuta, kept in their Original Wooden Crates.240
Duca Enrico is an absolute milestone in Italian oenology: it was, in fact, the first Nero d'Avola produced in pure form in the history of Sicily (since 1984), becoming a worldwide icon for elegance, structure, and extraordinary longevity.
This lot offers a wonderful opportunity for comparison and evolution through two great vintages:
• Duca Enrico Magnum 2013: a vintage that is now beautifully mature and complex, awarded with excellent scores by international critics (e.g., 93 Falstaff points). Its market availability today is extremely limited.
• Duca Enrico Magnum 2017: an excellent vintage characterized by great freshness, a vibrant structure, and a still very long aging potential in Magnum format.
State of preservation:
The bottles and the original wooden crates are in excellent condition (please check the photos for details on labels, capsules, and liquid levels). The wines have been stored since purchase in a private cellar at controlled temperature and humidity, away from light. A perfect lot for collectors, investors, or for a great vertical tasting.
