A very finely decorated antique Chinese bronze beaker vase. On all sides there is archaic decoration. On the body eight different bands are depicted in inlays. Each combination of three bands is different. The three bands are the features of a Taoist symbol for Heaven, Earth and the Underworld. The patina has been polished. Very beautifully worked and a handsome form. Heavy in weight. The piece still shows features from the Warring States period. The underside bears a Xuande six-character mark.
Condition: very good.
Some casting flaws and signs of use, see photos
