AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Giclée fine art print on high-quality fine art paper.
Inspired by Pokémon, this artwork reimagines Magikarp as the legendary koi of Japanese folklore that climbs the Dragon Gate waterfall and becomes a dragon, painted in the style of traditional sumi-e ink painting. Magikarp leaps against the misty falls while the ghostly silhouette of the dragon it will become rises in the spray above. Loose black ink brushwork with soft vermilion and pale blue washes on warm washi-textured paper, with vertical calligraphy and a red seal, for a poetic, meditative atmosphere. Ideal for Pokémon art collectors, Japanese art enthusiasts and refined wall decor.
Original artwork by Henshin, Italian artist: drawn digitally by the artist in 2026 using professional graphic design software, then printed as a giclée. Inspired by Pokémon; not an official Pokémon or Nintendo product.
