Sculpture, Stemma Madonna Miracolosa - 25 cm - Cast Stone

Beautiful sculpture representing the "Miraculous Madonna" in all its uniqueness, fully finished by hand (stone cast).
Widespread in the Paris region during the cholera epidemic of 1832 by the Daughters of Charity, the medal is said to have given rise to several, inexplicable cures. In February 1834 the popular designation of miraculous is documented, even though its connection with the apparitions on Rue du Bac was not yet known.
The emblem is suitable for enriching interiors of upscale rustic houses, dependencies, or lavish gardens.
