AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful bas-relief depicting 'Hercules with the Nemean Lion' in all its uniqueness, completely hand-finished (stone cast).

According to Greek mythology, during the 12 labors performed by Hercules, a demigod, son of Zeus, encountered an almost invincible lion. However, he was driven off and killed by Heracles who, arriving near its lair, tried in vain to pierce it with bow and arrows, but, having the pelt invulnerable, was protected and did not suffer injuries. Trapped, he was then reached and bound around the neck with an arm to be suffocated to death. Heracles then hoisted it onto his shoulders and carried it to Cleone.

Subsequently Heracles skinned the lion and used the pelt for himself, obtaining an invincible defense against the new dangers he would face.

The sculpture is suitable for enriching interiors of stylish rustic country houses, depandances, or sumptuous gardens.

It ensures careful shipping of the objects with parcel tracking.
