Sculpture, Stemma Rosa Dei Venti - 25 cm - Cast Stone

Beautiful heraldic emblem representing the compass rose in all its uniqueness, completely handcrafted (stone carving).
The compass rose was in ancient times a cosmological symbol that referred to the occult meaning of the rose and to other figures of sacred geometry such as the octagon or the solar wheel.
The cardinal directions it indicated not only served as a means of spatial orientation, but were also associated with certain qualities, being related for example to the four elements, the four humors, the four seasons, etc.
The emblem is suitable for adorning luxurious gardens, rustic houses and classical interiors.
