Sculpture, Fontana Bacco - 34 cm - Cast Stone

A distinctive fountain depicting the Greek deity 'Bacco' in all his uniqueness, fully hand-finished (stone casting).
"Dio Bacco" refers to Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, festivity, ecstasy and fertility, who corresponds to the Greek god Dionysus. His name derives from Bakchos, meaning "the one who shouts" or "the screamer," referring to the noise of his followers during orgiastic feasts. He is often depicted as a young god, sometimes intoxicated, holding a cup of wine, his head crowned with grapevines, and in the company of his typical retinue of satyrs and bacchantes.
The fountain is suitable for enriching interiors of classy rustic homes, annexes, or sumptuous gardens.
