Description from the seller

Beautiful 4/4 Saxon violin from the Markneukirchen region from the thirties. It is an AMATI model. The violin is beautifully finished, has a nicely flamed back made from a single piece of wood and is in great condition. The violin comes with a GEWA hard case and an octagonal, well-haired German bow from the nineteen-nineties. The set is complete and ready to play. The tone of the violin is full and warm
The measurements are:
Total length. 59.2 cm
Mensuur (scale). 33.0 cm
Corpus. 35.8 cm
Taille. 10.8 cm
Breedte boven. 16.5 cm
Breedte onder. 20.6 cm

Violine and bows described as 'certified' or 'credited' contain images of their certificates and therefore have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, provenance and age than instruments described only as 'labeled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we make no guarantees
