Description from the seller

Silver Obsidian & Black Labradorite – Rosary – Radiant Cross – The Light in the Darkness

This rosary stands out for the pairing of stones with dark, deep tones, enhanced by numerous gold ornaments and an imposing sacred cross with a diamond-like gleam.

It is composed of 71 silvered obsidian and black labradorite beads, round and cube-shaped with softened edges, carefully polished.

The silvered obsidian presents an intense black color, interwoven with silver-gray reflections and metallic and silky nuances. Depending on the light incidence, its surfaces reveal a subtle brilliance, bringing depth and mystery to the whole.

The black labradorite reveals tones ranging from anthracite gray to deep black, sometimes accompanied by silver reflections. The cube-shaped beads in gray and speckled hues create a pleasant variation of shapes and textures.

The whole is punctuated by finely wrought gold elements, bringing sparkle and harmony to this composition with a clearly religious character.

The rosary is adorned with several gold oval medals, each bearing a raised cross on a finely striped background.

These religious elements, accompanied by decorative gold beads, harmoniously punctuate the composition and remind of the central place of the cross in the Christian tradition.

Symbol of faith, sacrifice and salvation, the cross evokes the Passion of Christ, His Resurrection, and the hope of eternal life.

At the center of the rosary stands an imposing double-structure golden Latin cross, its contoured, raised features giving it a remarkable presence.

Its structure rests on a first cross whose slightly flared and cut ends form a gilded frame with bright borders.

A second, narrower and raised cross hugs its silhouette and presents a satin finish, contrasting with the polished contours of the base.

In the center of this composition appears a third cross, smaller, in relief and set with sparkling white stones arranged along its arms.

This three-tiered superimposition creates a striking depth effect, while the set stones bring a diamond-like sparkle that naturally draws the eye.

The contrast between satin surfaces, bright edges, and luminous stones underscores the refinement of this religious pendant.

The dark stones that make up this rosary evoke mystery, inner life, and the periods of soul’s darkness. They recall moments of trial when faith endures despite the apparent absence of light — akin to the Passion of Christ preceding the Resurrection.

Thus this rosary becomes a true prayer companion, inviting contemplation, confidence and hope, guiding the soul from darkness toward divine light.
