Antique Christian memorial piece / embroidery sewn on perforated embroidery paper.
Decorated with dried flowers including edelweiss.
Made in 1892 for a 12.5-year marriage.
In the center a pre-printed lithograph of a river landscape with a church at twilight.
With the text in red embroidered in Gothic letters the motto: Trust in God He helps in times of trouble.
The letters and the date are accented with gold-colored beads.
In its original antique black with a gold frame, with edge wear from years of use.

A very well-preserved handmade artwork of Victorian domestic craft.
It is manufactured with utmost precision on the characteristic antique perforated embroidery paper (cardboard frame) in a beige tint.
