Description from the seller
Château Haut Nouchet - L'orangerie – AOP PESSAC LEOGNAN 2022 – 6 x 75 cl - Grand Vin de Bordeaux - Rouge
Delivered in its original box
The vineyard spans 15 hectares. The vines occupy a terroir made up of gravels, clay and limestone.
The blending is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc.
Harvests are carried out manually. A triple sorting is performed: in the vineyard, then before and after destemming. This selection aims to vinify only healthy and perfectly ripe fruit.
Vinification is overseen by Stéphane Derenoncourt. It begins in thermoregulated stainless-steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels. The barrels are renewed at a rate of one third each year.
The wine presents an expression marked by red fruit, with a tannic structure and a certain suppleness on the palate.
Its aging potential is 12 to 15 years.
No shipments to Ireland or Norway and outside Europe are allowed, as packages are systematically blocked by customs.
