Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notes the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs devoted entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio outlets. Among the most significant events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palace of Culture in Reggio Calabria; and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3.
