Belgium - Military medal - 2 × Belgian commemorative medals: telegraphy 1846 and for the Post 1949.

Commemorative Medal for the 100th anniversary of the RTT (Regie for Telegraaf en Telefoon)
The medal in 1946: Exactly one hundred years after the first telegraph line (in the midst of the post-war reconstruction) the centenary was celebrated. The then Prince Regent Karel established this commemorative medal to honor the permanent staff who had served at least 25 years with the regie for their loyalty
The medal is designed based on the original Belgian "Commemorative Medal for the Postal Services" which was originally instituted in 1924 by King Albert I on the occasion of the 75th anniversary. For the 100th birthday in 1949 the design was adjusted with the new dates
