daveY - Zenith Collection – "The Path to Zenith" (Rivisitazione)

Discover my works at: daveyvisualart.myshopify.com
My name is Davey. And what I do isn’t just painting on a screen: I create worlds. I take the digital void and shape it, mold it, playing with three-dimensionality to fool the eye and capture the soul. Light and shadow aren’t random details; they are the rails on which my emotion travels.
I feed my mind with everything around me. I find inspiration in the storytelling of a film, in the pure dynamism of sport, in the geometric complexity of video games. But there’s a place where all of this comes together, where my art finds its true purpose: interior decor. Home embellishments.
For me, a home isn’t just a collection of rooms. It’s a refuge. And every single canvas I create is born for that refuge.
There isn’t a stroke, shade, or contrast that’s there by chance. Every detail has a purpose. I want anyone who looks at a piece of mine hung on the wall not to see just a painting, but a window opening onto a new dimension, a design element that dialogues with the room’s light, that changes its skin according to the hour of the day. It’s digital art that becomes flesh, that becomes decor, that breathes with your home.
This journey started in my mind, but it continues on the walls of those who choose to dream with me. If you want to discover how three-dimensionality and light can transform your space, I await you in my digital workshop, where you’ll find canvases of all kinds, each ready to bring your home to life.

Catawiki is proud to present an exclusive and highly awaited revisitation of the iconic Zenith work, one of the most loved, collected, and best-selling subjects of our weekly auctions. This new version elevates to the maximum the material and three-dimensional aspect of the original composition, leading the observer into a timeless spiritual journey.
At the center of the work, a mysterious solitary figure—a wanderer or a monk with the traditional oriental hat—stands at the beginning of a monumental and steep staircase of white stone. The staircase climbs sinuously up a majestic rocky wall that astonishingly simulates the veins, cracks, and the rough texture of broken white marble.
Perfect Balance Between Nature, Stone and Light
The composition is orchestrated according to the canons of conceptual minimalism and Zen philosophy:
The Matter: The rock and the steps seem sculpted in live plaster or pure marble, with cracks and sharp edges rendered with a startling photographic precision.
The Nature: An ancient, gnarled Bonsai tree clings to the cliff, breaking the stone’s whiteness with the deep green of its needles.
The Zenith Light: In the background, crowning the ascent, the majestic profile of Mount Fuji is embraced by the famous iconic ring of golden and amber light. This warm light eclipse radiates the entire scene, creating a perfect contrast with the cool tones of the stone and generating the optical illusion of a true backlit sculpture emerging from the wall.
