Chinese nephrite jade open work Archaic pendant dragon –China- 20th Century
On offer is an open work light-grey white pendant in Archaic style executed in highest quality. The pendant shows a carving of a stylized dragon on both sides. The jade used to make this remarkable Archaic pendant has been carefully selected for uniformity and solid color. This jade pendant has a beautiful shine from age. a Beautiful carved Archaic artwork, very hard to find!
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Provenance: This excellent and rare jade Archaic pendant comes from inland China.
