Offered is an exceptional Omega De Ville Symbol from one of the most distinctive design series Omega produced in the 1980s.

At the center of this watch is the elaborately designed Yin-and-Yang dial. In the “Symbol” collection, Omega drew from various universal signs and their meanings. In addition to motifs such as the sun and the Ankh cross, Yin and Yang also belonged to this extraordinary series.

The colored dial installed here combines different burgundy, red, gray, and almost black tones with fine gold-colored lines and appliques. Depending on the incidence of light, its effect changes significantly. Especially characteristic are the two stylized hands, whose design also takes up the symbolic language of the collection.

The elegant case measures 32 mm without the crown. The warm gold color of the bezel provides a beautiful contrast to the stainless steel case and to the extraordinary dial.

Also particularly high-quality is the original integrated Omega two-tone bracelet Ref. 1449/432 made of stainless steel and 18-karat gold elements. In total, the existing bracelet contains 36 individual gold elements. Along with the solid 18-karat gold bezel, this gives the watch a decidedly higher-quality appearance than the pure stainless-steel versions of this model family.

The De Ville Symbol is relatively rarely seen today—especially in this colored Yin-and-Yang version and in combination with the original two-tone bracelet.

The watch is in an authentic worn vintage condition. In particular the gold bezel and the polished surfaces show age- and use-related wear. Please regard the numerous high-resolution photographs as an essential part of the condition description.

Additionally included is an original Omega service/transport case in red with Omega embossing, as well as the corresponding black plastic outer shell. This case is accessory and is explicitly not offered as the original sale box or the original box of this watch.
