Beautiful looking antique wooden driver 115 cm long golf club
Persimmon wooden clubhead in very good condition.
Persimmon wood is heavy, hard, and strong for a temperate species. It has excellent shock and wear resistance.
Lead weight in the back and an inset ram's horn sole underneath.
Original leather grip with twine whippings

The clubhead is marked Louis Pretts, Villa ' Este
The famous and historical Villa d'Este golf links were established in 1926 at the edge of Lake Como, Italy, by the well known English course architect Peter Gannon
It's a very nice decorative golfclub with a beautiful color wooden clubhead.
