Description from the seller
Lot of three bottles of Bordeaux red wine from the 1981 vintage. This set includes one bottle of Château Pontet-Canet, Fifth Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Pauillac Contrôlée appellation. The second bottle comes from Château Anthonic, classified Cru Bourgeois Supérieur under the former classification applicable to this vintage, Moulis en Médoc Contrôlée appellation. The third bottle is a Château La Tuilerie, produced under the Graves Contrôlée appellation, an unclassified property from this wine region. Each bottle features the mandatory mention Mis en Bouteille au Château. Regarding dimensions and weight, the first two bottles each measure 30 cm in height with an individual weight of 1300 g. The third bottle has a height of 28 cm with a weight of 1250 g. The total weight of this three-bottle lot is 3850 g. The general state of preservation shows pronounced marks of use and aging. The original paper labels are heavily patinated, darkened by cellar dust and show slight degradation as well as old handwritten price tags stuck on the upper shoulder. The original red metal capsules are in place but show signs of wear, friction and a slight tear at the top of the neck on the Château Anthonic bottle. The liquid level is clearly visible at the base of the neck, indicating a good general seal despite the time elapsed. Shipping is exclusively reserved for member countries of the continental European Union, and no delivery can be guaranteed to island destinations or overseas territories.
