Chinese nephrite jade dragon-head men’s bracelet –China- 20th Century
On offer is a very rare Chinese nephrite jade dragon-head men’s bangle or bracelet. This bracelet consists of 3 parts. This 3-piece bracelet has been carved from a single piece of nephrite jade. It has been carved into 3 separate connected moving parts with above–average craftsmanship, to form one inseparable piece! The details are remarkable such as the bulging eyes and horns of the dragon. The connection piece between the 2 dragon heads has the carved “Shou” character for long life wish! The bracelet is designed in a tough, robust style! Never seen before.
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Provenance: This excellent and rare jade bracelet comes from inland China.

*Material/color: Pale celadon light-green white nephrite jade of homogenous structure, untreated natural color, without visible impurities.
*Origin/provenance: China, inland.
*Weight: 55,1 gram including beads part. Estimate jade weight 50 gram or 250 Carat.
*Hardness: No scratching possible, with hardened steel scratch pen.
*UV/ bright light check: No indication of treatment.
*Dating: Second half of 20th Century, PROC.
*Size (approx.): Size for wearing; adjustable. Length of jade total: 100 mm. Width: 19 mm. Height dragon head: 20 mm.
*Condition: Very fine condition, no damage.
