VOLTA presents 'Pink in Paradise', a 2026 acrylic painting signed by hand, original edition, image size 90 x 70 cm (canvas 100 x 80 cm), unframed and shipped rolled, made in Italy, sold directly by the artist, with a digital certificate of authenticity available on request.
Description from the seller
A wall of dense greens occupies almost the entire canvas: emerald, olive, dark green almost blue, built in rounded, close-packed brushstrokes, lit by splashes of yellow and white like light filtering through the leaves. Up top the sky opens to a light blue, with a small pink disk that marks the warm hour of the day. At the bottom the water gathers everything and returns it more somber, denser, dotted with pink petals that float on the surface. Then, along the thread of water, the two flamingos: a tender pink that cuts through the green and draws the gaze exactly there. They are small and the painting treats them with delicacy, but they are enough to give the whole forest its sense of inhabited quiet.

Volta's research moves along the path of a return — not nostalgic, but active. The great tradition of European painting is the starting point: the period that each work evokes, from time to time. But the gesture with which this heritage is traversed is unequivocally contemporary. Color does not illustrate, it breathes. The brushstroke does not describe, it vibrates. What remains of the past is the deep structure — a certain idea of the body, of space, of light — while the surface is all present, all alive. Volta does not quote, it restitutes: his compositions seem to emerge from a shared cultural memory, brought back to light with eyes anew.
