Description from the seller
Pair of Venetian-Style Wall Lamps in Gilt Wood with Mirrors and Floral Decorations
Elegant pair of wall lamps in Venetian style, featuring a refined gilded wood structure, richly worked with scrolls, floral motifs and leafy elements of strong decorative impact. The lamps show an elegant wavy and slender silhouette, inspired by the Venetian Baroque and Rococo taste.
The central part of each lamp is embellished with a shaped mirror, framed by a rich gilt decoration with vegetal motifs, small flowers and sinuous scrolls. The upper cap displays an elaborate interweaving of curls and acanthus leaves, while the lower part is enriched by a central floral ornament and a refined hanging element.
On the sides of the mirror extend two elegant candle-holder arms, for a total of four light sources, adorned with decorative leaves and petal-shaped plates. The gilded finish enhances the richness of the workmanship, giving the whole piece brightness and elegance.
The harmonious proportions, the particular ornamental workmanship and the presence of the mirrors make this pair of lamps particularly dramatic, ideal for living rooms, entrances, corridors and classical representative spaces.
A decorative ensemble of great charm and presence, perfect for enhancing walls and antique furnishings with a refined nod to Venetian tradition.
