Edition and context information (Collectible value):
Rare institutional large-format poster issued for Dalí’s major retrospective at the Isetan Museum in Tokyo in 1982. The high value of this piece lies in its striking graphic design that blends vibrant red Japanese typography with the iconic portrait of Dalí holding a mask, captured by the renowned photographer and surrealist editor Pierre Argillet. The poster features a lower band displaying several masterworks exhibited, such as the "Christ of Saint John of the Cross", "The Persistence of Memory", and "Gala Looking at the Mediterranean Sea".

Signature, press imprint and inscriptions:
- Upper left corner: Photo credit "Photo by Argillet".

- Large-format dimensions: 103 x 73 cm.

Provenance:
Private collection, Spain. Printed in Japan (1982).

Condition:
Acceptable to good condition (Vintage Fair / Good condition).
- The central image (the portrait of Dalí and the red typography) maintains excellent contrast and visual impact, with no discoloration.
- As it is a 1982 lightweight paper poster, it shows evident signs of use and storage.
- It displays creases and horizontal folds across the paper.
- It shows pronounced edge wear, small tears and creases around the entire outer perimeter (especially on the side and lower right and left edges).
- All such marginal wear is well camouflaged when mounted with a mat or standard frame, preserving the strong visual impact of the work. (Please carefully review the detail photographs to verify the state of the margins).

Shipping:
Professional packing, rolled with protective tissue in a high-density rigid tube, with tracking number and shipping insurance.
