O. Delgado - Fishman XL

Fishman

A figure with a straw hat, dark sunglasses, and a striped shirt holds a large blue fish. The scene has something of a classic portrait, but with a contemporary and relaxed attitude.

The composition plays with the contrast between the blue of the fish and the clothing, the intense green of the background, and the orange in the foreground. The flowers and plant shapes add rhythm and frame the character, while visible brushstrokes keep the image direct and spontaneous.

The work combines everyday elements with an almost iconic presence. The character does not need to tell his story: his posture and attitude are enough to suggest character, confidence, and a certain sense of humor.

Fishman is a contemporary figurative painting, with strong colors and a Mediterranean aesthetic, notable for its personality and its way of combining the everyday with a graphic and forceful image.
