Enrico Fornaini (1944-2024) - Natura morta con frutta

Enrico Fornaini was born in Pisa in 1944, known worldwide (he even received the recognition of Mother Teresa of Calcutta). He has always divided his work between the modern and the ancient, even in terms of painting technique; he mastered indeed various styles and precisely for this reason he was able to fresco numerous churches.
The splendid work in question is a still life painted in oil on panel, with a light of tangible consistency, almost capable of retaining warmth, in the context of an approach free of rhetoric that enhances volumes in an objective way. The artist's signature is unequivocal and already recognized by experts in the field.
The painting is in the possession of a well-known and esteemed lawyer who received it as a gift in the very early 1980s.
