Laurent Anastay Ponsolle - Le serpent à plumes

Young artist showcased at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the day dedicated to French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with force and spontaneity.

This work is an oil painting on paper with highlights of oil pastels. The whole piece reads as very "brut" (brutal/raw), "écorché vif" (gutted/raw), and "sensitive"—qualities typical of German figurative expressionism, a current in which the artist fully aligns himself.

The work will be shipped in a cardboard tube with bubble wrap, sending promptly and carefully. An authenticity certificate signed by the artist will also be emailed.
